Multinational FMCG Company. Position based in Germany near Düsseldorf.

REPORTS TO

Manager, Customer Marketing – Central Group (GER, AT, CH, PL, CZ, SK, HU)

ROLE SUMMARY

Responsible for the Net Sales, Spend Control and Market Shares for the categories assigned (Air Care/ Pest Control). Translate Regional and Country Group Category Plans by channel and customer. Implement Consumer and Trade Promotion Plans including Special Packs.

The Lead Customer Marketing AC/PC is a key player to push the growth in Germany and the whole Country Group on the assigned categories.

It is crucial to this role to collaborate both closely with the Regional Marketing Team and with the local Sales teams and customers. Key priorities are to win share & grow sales in Air Care over competitors. The Lead Customer Marketing AC/PC leads the plan for the categories assigned for the whole country group. He/she should work effectively with the Customer Marketers in the other countries.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Responsible for Net Sales and Market Shares of the Categories assigned
  2. Input into the Corplan process for the Categories assigned (Annual Budget)
  3. Translate the Regional Category & Country Group Strategy into plans by channel and customer
  4. Develop Special Pack plans aligned with the Regional Catalogue
  5. Implement Consumer and Trade Promotion plans including Special Packs and Promotional Packs
  6. Implement CTL workshops developed by the Regional team
  7. Identify Shopper Insights and translate them into actionable plans to win at the POS
  8. Implement Customer Thought Leadership workshops with key customers
  9. Develop Trade Presentations leveraging Regional materials
  10. Input into Sales Forecast
  11. Responsible for POP materials for the Categories/Segments assigned in line with Regional process
  12. Coach and Develop 3 direct reports (Senior Associate & Associates)

DESIRED SKILL REQUIREMENTS/COMPETENCIES / EXPERIENCE

  1. Graduate degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or similar
  2. Commercial background with at least 6 to 7 years in Commercial experience (ideally a combination of Sales or Customer Marketing and Marketing).
  3. Fluent in English and German
  4. Fully mobile
  5. Strong interest in an international marketing career
  6. Understanding and knowledge of the European retail environment
  7. Willingness and ability for outstanding results
  8. Strong communicator and team worker, able to build relationships at all levels and across function in an ambiguous environment
  9. Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
  10. Strong analytical skills and fast decision making
  11. Ability to drive for results with high degree of initiative and speed
  12. Demonstrate dynamism and curiosity
  13. Problem solver
  14. High level of autonomy
