Multinational FMCG Company. Position based in Germany near Düsseldorf.


Manager, Customer Marketing – Central Group (GER, AT, CH, PL, CZ, SK, HU)


Responsible for the Net Sales, Market Shares and Marketing budget for the categories assigned (Air Care/ Home cleaning/ Pest Control) for Austria and Switzerland. Translate HQ and Country Group Category Plans by channel and customer. Implement Consumer and Trade Promotion Plans.

The Associate Manager Customer Marketing AC/HC/PC is a key player to drive the growth in Austria and Switzerland on the assigned categories.

Crucial in this role is to collaborate both closely with the HQ Marketing Team and with the local Sales teams and customers.

The key priorities are to gain share & grow the sales, and introduce successfully Pest Control. The position is also in close contact with the Marketers in the other European countries.


  1. Responsible for Net Sales and Market Shares for the Categories assigned
  2. Build the yearly Plan for the Categories assigned (Priorities setting, Annual Sales Forecast and Budget)
  3. Translate the HQ Category & Country Group Strategy into plans by channel and customer
  4. Implement Consumer and Trade Promotion plans including Special Packs and Promotional Packs
  5. Identify Shopper Insights and translate them into actionable plans to win at the POS
  6. Responsible for POP materials for the Categories/Segments assigned in line with the EU process
  7. Implement Customers presentations and special categories events with the support of the European HQ team
  8. Sales Forecast ownership and input
  9. Coach and Develop 1 direct report (Senior Associate)


  1. Graduate degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or similar
  2. Commercial background with at least 4 years in Commercial experience (ideally a combination of Sales or Customer Marketing and Marketing).
  3. Fluent in English, German is a plus
  4. Strong interest in an international marketing career
  5. Understanding and knowledge of the European retail environment
  6. Drive for results, action oriented personality
  7. Demonstrate curiosity for Marketing and Finance topics
  8. Strong communicator and team worker, able to build relationships at all levels and across function in an ambiguous environment
  9. Highly organized with the ability to prioritize
  10. Strong analytical skills and fast decision making
  11. Problem solver
  12. High level of autonomy
